Shipping policy
Announce It! ships using the US Postal Service.
We process orders quickly, but you might wonder "When will my order arrive?"
We typically print and ship orders within 1-3 days of proof approval.
USPS Priority Mail Shipping
Shipping times always begin the day after the order leaves our facility, and USPS Priority Mail is generally a 2 to 4 day* delivery service; they also deliver on Saturdays.
* A note of caution: USPS Priority Mail is not trackable the same way as UPS, and does not offer a guaranteed delivery timeframe. Our experience is that orders arrive in 2 - 4 mailing days (excluding Sundays and holidays) 95-98% of the time. Please plan ahead.
**Disclaimer: We are not responsible for the delivery times for the carriers. Once your package leaves our facility, they now become responsible. We are also not responsible for lost packages or packages reported as delivered that you have not received.
Express Mail Shipping
1-2 days mailing time guaranteed by the US Postal Service, not Announce It! This service does offer package tracking.
Mother Nature & Delivery Delays
Unfortunately Mother Nature can impact your delivery date please plan accordingly. This includes ordering early, and taking into consideration any weather conditions your package may encounter during its journey from our facility to your doorstep. We are not responsible for these delays or damages due to weather. If you know inclement weather is headed your way, please be available to greet your carrier and take your package inside.
Shipping in Warm Weather
During warm weather 65 degrees or higher, it will be necessary to ship all chocolate orders in an insulated cooler with ice packs if your region has temperatures above 65 degrees.
We also reserve the right to add an insulated cooler to your invoice and charge you if you neglect to do so, or if our temperatures are over 65 degrees also. You will be charged a fee of $8.50 for the insulated container and ice pack.
We are not responsible for chocolate bars that melt due to being shipped in heat. Please make sure that your order is shipped to a location where they will be received by someone and not left outside in the heat. They will melt!!! If you are in a very hot region, FL, AZ, TX, CA etc. and it is summer, we strongly suggest express mail service to ensure your chocolate does not melt.
